After, she wanted a Happy Meal for lunch. So we went to McDonald's got her a Happy Meal and she was so excited that she got the toy she wanted. Once she finished she went to take a nap so she could have energy to go to the playground. That was her next destination of choice.
It was really hot and dinner time was approaching. So we left and headed to Friendly's! We had a great dinner and of course ice cream for dessert. We finished the night by visiting Grammy, Grampy and Mum. Cassie had a great day.
And now, the obligatory yearly letter to Cassie:
Dear Cassie,Today, you are three years old! Happy, happy birthday to you, sweet baby girl! As I sit here and watch videos of you in your first few months of life, I’ve noticed that some things haven’t changed in you. Your giggle is still the same exact giggle you used to let out when Daddy was goofing around with you while you sat in your high chair. Your smile, while it now has teeth, has not changed shape. You still have the same adorable grin you first showed us at a month old. Your “ew, gross!” face is still the same. Today you make this face when you try new foods, it’s the same as the one you showed us many a times when we fed you your rice cereal. Your eyes still have the same beautiful, full of life, sparkle that they’ve had since day one.Over the last three years you have taught your Daddy and I a lot of things about you and about having children. You’ve taught us to be patient with you; especially when you feel the need to ask “why?” after everything we tell you. You’ve taught us that you are very independent; from your early walking, to your mischievous climbing, and now to your potty training. You’ve taught us how to laugh a lot. You sure keep things interesting around here! Most of all, you’ve taught us how easy it is to be proud and loving parents. We have awaited every milestone with eagerness and celebrated each and every one with the utmost excitement.I wish that someday you get to feel the same things with your own children that we feel with you. You are an amazing little girl; we couldn’t have asked for a better daughter. We love you!Love,Mommy & Daddy
